We hold the mess, so you can hold the moment. 〰️
At Olive Branch Therapeutic Services, we believe healing begins when people have a safe place to bring the messy, complicated parts of their story. Our work is grounded in the understanding that many of the struggles individuals and families face are shaped by experiences, patterns, and relationships that developed long before they entered the therapy room. Rather than focusing on what is “wrong,” we focus on understanding, awareness, and growth—helping clients make sense of their experiences, strengthen emotional regulation, and develop healthier ways of relating to themselves and others. Our goal is to create an environment where people feel supported, respected, and empowered to break unhelpful cycles, build meaningful connections, and move forward with greater clarity and confidence. Because when healing has somewhere safe to land, real and lasting change becomes possible.

The poet and philosopher Rumi once wrote:
“Out beyond ideas of wrongdoing and rightdoing, there is a field. I’ll meet you there.”
At The Olive Branch, we imagine that field much like the symbol of the olive branch itself—a place of peace, understanding, and the willingness to meet one another without judgment.
In that space, people are not reduced to mistakes, labels, or moments of struggle. Instead, they are seen as whole individuals shaped by their experiences, relationships, and the paths they have walked.
To extend an olive branch is to say:
I am willing to meet you where you are.
It is an invitation to step into a place where curiosity replaces criticism, compassion replaces shame, and growth becomes possible.
Therapy begins when people feel safe enough to enter that space together.

A Place to Grow, Heal, and Begin Again
At The Olive Branch, we believe that healing doesn't look the same for everyone — and it shouldn't. Our therapists draw from a variety of approaches so that care can be tailored to each unique person, family, and season of life. Below you'll find the modalities we offer and what makes each one special.
Play Therapy · ✓ Certified
Play Therapy
Children communicate through play the way adults communicate through words. Our certified play therapists create a safe, nurturing space where children can express their feelings, work through difficult experiences, and develop coping skills — all through the natural language of play. It's especially powerful for children who may not yet have the words for what they're carrying inside.
CBT
Cognitive Behavioral Therapy
Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) is one of the most well-researched approaches in the field. It gently explores the connection between our thoughts, feelings, and behaviors — helping you recognize patterns that may be keeping you stuck and build new, healthier ways of thinking and responding. CBT is practical, collaborative, and focused on real change in everyday life.
DBT
Dialectical Behavior Therapy
DBT is a compassionate, skills-based approach that helps people navigate big emotions, improve relationships, and find balance between acceptance and change. Originally developed for intense emotional experiences, DBT is now used across a wide range of challenges. It offers practical tools in four key areas: mindfulness, distress tolerance, emotion regulation, and interpersonal effectiveness.
Family Therapy
Family Therapy
Families are systems — and when one part is hurting, the whole family feels it. Family therapy brings loved ones together in a safe, guided space to improve communication, repair ruptures, and deepen understanding of one another. Whether you're navigating a specific challenge or simply want to strengthen your connection, family therapy honors every voice in the room.
Trauma-Focused Therapy
Trauma-Focused Therapy
Trauma changes the way we see ourselves, others, and the world — but it doesn't have to be the final word. Our trauma-focused approaches are grounded in safety, trust, and going at your pace. We draw from evidence-based frameworks designed to help individuals and families process painful experiences, reclaim their sense of self, and move toward a life that feels whole again.
Couples Therapy
Couples Therapy
Every relationship goes through seasons — some easier than others. Couples therapy offers a safe, neutral space where both partners can be heard, understood, and guided toward deeper connection. Whether you're navigating conflict, rebuilding trust, working through a major life transition, or simply wanting to grow closer, couples therapy helps you find your way back to each other with intention and care.
Mindfulness & Manifestation
Mindfulness & Manifestation
Healing isn't only about processing the past — it's also about intentionally creating your future. Our mindfulness and manifestation work blends grounding, present-moment awareness practices with purposeful intention-setting, helping you quiet the noise, reconnect with yourself, and begin moving toward the life you genuinely want. This approach honors both the science of the mind and the wisdom of the whole person.
Guided Hypnosis
Guided Hypnosis
Guided hypnosis is a gentle, collaborative process that helps you access a deeply relaxed and focused state of awareness — one where the mind becomes more open to positive change. Far from the dramatic portrayals you may have seen, therapeutic hypnosis is calm, safe, and always client-led. It can be a powerful support for managing anxiety, breaking unhelpful patterns, processing difficult experiences, and building confidence from the inside out.
Starting June 2026
Groups & Camps
Beyond individual therapy, we offer intentional group experiences designed to help children build lifelong skills in a warm, supportive community setting. These programs are open to the broader community — no therapy referral needed.
Elementary Emotional Regulation & Coping Skills Camp
🌱 Starting June 2026
This camp gives children the language, tools, and confidence to understand their emotions and work through them — skills they'll carry for the rest of their lives. Through guided activities, games, and group connection, kids ages 5–13 will learn to identify what they're feeling, explore why it's showing up, and practice healthy, effective ways to cope. It's not about being perfect — it's about being equipped.
Holistic Wellness Group for Kids
💙 Starting June 2026 · Weekly
True wellness is more than what's happening in our minds — it's the whole picture. This weekly group combines emotional health activities with physical wellbeing practices in a fun, age-appropriate setting. Kids will explore how movement, breath, rest, nourishment, and connection all play a role in how we feel. Each week brings a new experience that helps children see themselves as full, capable human beings — inside and out.
